Important Information
Safety Warning
These maps are starting points only. Always verify with proper dyno testing and knock detection. Start conservative and advance gradually.
Tuning Process
1. Load base maps
2. Tune idle and cruise
3. Tune WOT with wideband
4. Verify timing with knock detection
Map Interpretation
Ignition timing increases with RPM and decreases with load. VE typically peaks around 80-90% of redline for NA engines.
Engine Types
NA: Higher timing advance, lower VE
Turbo: Conservative timing, higher VE
Supercharged: Moderate timing, high VE
Fuel Considerations
Higher octane fuels allow more timing advance. E85 and methanol require significant timing adjustments and fuel system modifications.
ECUMaster Compatibility
Generated maps are compatible with ECUMaster ECU software. Export as CSV for Excel compatibility or use the ECUMaster format for direct import.
